Thomas W. Gallant

Thomas W. Gallant ist Geschichtsprofessor und Inhaber des Nicholas Family Endowed Chair in Modern Greek History an der University of California, San Diego. Er ist außerdem Co-Direktor des UC San Diego Center for Hellenic Studies. Zuvor war er Professor für griechische Geschichte und Anthropologie an der University of Florida und von 2002 bis 2007 Inhaber des Lehrstuhls für moderne griechische Geschichte an der York University in Toronto. Darüber hinaus war er Präsident der Modern Greek Studies Association. Er war Herausgeber der zehnbändigen "Edinburgh History of the Greeks" und Autor des neunten Bandes, "The Long Nineteenth Century" (2014).
