Paul Ekman ist emeritierter Professor für Psychologie an der University of California, San Francisco, School of Medicine. Er ist Autor der Bücher "Emotional Awareness" (mitverfasst mit dem Dalai Lama), "Emotions Revealed: Recognizing Faces and Feelings to Improve Communication and Emotional Life" und "Telling Lies: Clues to Deceit in the Marketplace, Politics, and Marriage" sowie Mitherausgeber von "Emotions Inside Out."
