Thomas Hylland Eriksen

Thomas Eriksen ist Professor für Anthropologie am Zentrum für Technologie, Innovation und Kultur der Universität Oslo. Er hat auch an den Universitäten von Amsterdam, Ljubljana und Sussex gelehrt. Er hat zahlreiche Bücher zu anthropologischen Themen verfasst, darunter "Languages at the Margins of Modernity" (Oslo, PRIO 1991), "Ethnicity and Nationalism" (London, Pluto Press 2002), "A History of Anthropology" (London, Pluto Press 2001) und "Small Places, Large Issues" (London, Pluto Press 2001).
