Alexandra CHalkia

Alexandra Halkias schloss ihre Doktorarbeit am Department of Communication der University of California, San Diego, ab. Sie setzte ihre Forschung an der Harvard University fort und lehrte am MIT. Derzeit ist sie außerordentliche Professorin am Department of Sociology der Panteion-Universität. Sie ist die Autorin von "The Empty Cradle of Democracy" (Duke University Press, 2004), das von Alexandria Publications übersetzt wurde ("Το άδειο λίκνο της δημοκρατίας", 2007). Sie hat Artikel in griechischen und internationalen Fachzeitschriften veröffentlicht und gemeinsam mit Martha Michailidou den Band "The Production of the Social Body" (Katarti/Dini Publications, 2005) herausgegeben.
