Connected to an LG smart TV for use in an office (as a presenter). We connected multiple desktop computers and laptops. What I noticed is that only one desktop computer with a PCI Wi-Fi card managed to connect and work without disconnections. If the motherboard doesn't have built-in Wi-Fi, you'll struggle to find an external dongle (I tried 12 different ones we had in the company, from Turbo-X to Netgear, and none of them worked properly...) and you'll have difficulties again (although less with PCI wireless network cards).
Microsoft probably designed it for laptops and/or desktops with built-in Wi-Fi on the motherboard that have almost standard drivers/cards.
At 55-65€, it might be a bit expensive for such a setup.

I give it 4 stars not because I found any flaws in its usage, but because I noticed some issues that might be important for others.
Usage:
- Windows 10
- Android 7,8,9
- Windows phone 10 (still)
Starting with the positives:
- Unlike many smart TVs and other adapters I have, it has never disconnected from any device.
- It has been working for 3 years without any issues.
- Absolute compatibility with all my devices (mentioned above).
- Very minimal lag for presentations, movies, etc.
- Even though the framerate and lag are not suitable for gaming, we often use it to display games from our mobile on the screen for others to watch, and it works more than satisfactorily.
- Great range. I have never been concerned about how close my laptop is to the screen. It still works even from another room to some extent.
- Very easy to use. You don't have to do anything to connect.
Negatives:
- The framerate is not suitable for gaming (but it is enough to watch someone else play).
- The framerate is not suitable for demanding movies. It stutters at 60fps HD. It will probably be fine for lower quality movies.
- Sometimes, the second screen did not appear from Windows in a gaming environment (Starcraft II). I think it is related to the computer/graphics card, as it worked exactly the same on another computer, but I don't know the exact characteristic causing it.
- Not compatible with iPads (expected, just mentioning it).
- The screen needs to have USB or it is difficult to power it (not impossible though).
- Only HDMI output (could it have VGA at this cost?)
