Έχω το K70 RGB με τους MX red από το 2015. Το πληκτρολόγιο ήταν ο όρισμος του σκυλίου. Γάλα έπεσε και επιβίωσε. Μετά απο 8 χρόνια αποφάσισα να πάω σε αλλαγή γιατί χρειαζόταν άλλα keycaps για ορισμένα πλήκτρα και τα 30€ που ζητούσαν μου φάνηκαν πολλά όταν το MK2 το βρίσκεις απο 70€ εκθεσιακό.

Στα του ΜΚ2 τώρα:
Έλυσε 5 σημαντικά προβλήματα που είχα εντοπίσει +1 που δεν ήξερα όχι έχω:
1) USB pass-through. Τέρμα βολική για ασύρματα headsets ή ασύρματα ποντίκια
2) Κανάλια για καλώδια ενσύρματων headsets ή ενσύματων ποντικιών
3)Media keys εμφανώς υπερυψωμένα και πολύ πιο άμεσα προσβάσιμα
4)Bleeding Light. Πραγματικά ο λόγος που παίρνεις RGB είναι γιατί θες per key light και όταν μπερδεύονται μεταξύ τους διαφορετικά χρώματα (οπως του WSAD) υπάρχει πρόβλημα. Λύθηκε.
5)Keycap remover. Τρομερά χρήσιμο εργαλείο αφού κάθε 6 μήνες που βγάζω τα keycaps για καθάρισμα πονούσαν τα δάχτυλα μου
6)Profile switch με physical key. Δεν είμαι από αυτούς που αλλάζουν χρώματα ανά παιχνίδι/εφαρμογή αλλά ως content creator αφήνω το pc ανοιχτό για ώρες για uploads. Οπότε έχω ρυθμίσει με ένα κουμπί να σβήνουν όλα τα φώτα στα corsair εξαρτήματα KB/Mouse/fans/watercooling

Πέρα από τα προφανή η Corsair έβαλες και μερικές ακόμα ωραίες πινελιές
-Αισθάνομαι ότι έχει μαλακώσει ο ήχος των Cherry MX RED παρατηρώντας ωστόσο έναν αντίλαλο από το press release ορισμένων πλήκτρων. Γράφω πολύ γρήγορα οπότε ακούω τον αντίλαλο που δεν με ενοχλεί. Κάθε άλλο θα έλεγα...
-Το φωτείνο Corsair logo μια πολύ όμορφη προσθήκη που ωστόσο επειδή γυαλίζει πολλές φορές αντανακλά πράγματα που βλέπω στην οθόνη αποσπώντας μου την προσοχή.
-Η εμπειρία πρηκτρολόγησης είναι καλύτερη από το MK1. Ίσως ο σημαντικότερος λόγος αγοράς MX RED για non competitive gamers. Σας το λέω αλήθεια είναι από άλλο πλανήτη. Ερωτεύτηκα ξανά το γράψιμο. Δεν ξέρω πώς το έκαναν αλλά είναι πιο γλυκό το πάτημα τους. Επίσης τα πλήκτρα είναι πιο curvy συμβάλλοντας σημαντικά σε αυτή την άισθηση αφού το δάχτυλο δεν έχει περιθώριο λάθους. Για type writter βέβαια που γράφουν με τα δάχτυλα κοντά στα πλήκτρα, πιο συρτά ίσως είναι θέμα. Όσοι έχετε εμπειριά στο γράψιμο μεγάλων κειμένων καταλαβαίνετε. Βέβαια με τον χρόνο τα πλήκτρα απο ματ θα γίνουν glossy αλλά μέχρι να γίνουν
- Το σαγρέ σχεδόν flat space bar. Δε γίνεται πλέον να σου φύγει από τα χέρια. Τρομερή λεπτομέρια στο πιο πολύπατημένο πλήκτρο.
- Νέο volume bar. Εμφανώς πιο premium looking αν και λιγότερο ακριβές

Πράγματα που δε μου άρεσαν:
-Έκανα το λάθος να πάρω πρώτη φορά απο αμέλεια EU layout. Τ περισσότερα laptops για εξοικονόμηση χώρου έχουν US layout με πλατια SHIFT και ENTER. Οπότε όταν γράφεις συνέχεια σε US layout είναι πιο εύκολο να γράφεις τυφλό σε οποιοδήποτε λαπτοπ ακόμα και αν το δουλεύεις 1η φορά. Πολλές φορές μπερδεύω το shift με το Ctrl. Μην κάνετε ποτέ αυτό το λάθος στη ζωή σας.
-Το wrist rest pad έγινε μακρίτερο μην αφήνοντας ουσιαστικά το χέρι να έρχεται ούτε λίγο σε επαφή με το γραφείο. Είμαι ένας άνθρωπος με αρκετά ξηρό δέρμα που πάντα πλένω τα χέρια μου καλά πριν δουλέψω στο PC για να κρατήσω όσο γίνεται πιο καθαρό το πληκτρολόγιο σε long term. Έχουν αρχίσει ήδη να φάινονται λαδιές απο τους καρπούς μου. Δε θέλω να φανταστώ τι θα γίνει το καλοκαίρι που μοιραία ιδρώνουν τα χέρια μας.
-Το αλουμίνιο δεν είναι τόσο Brushed με αποτέλεσμα κοντά στα 3 κουμπάκια αριστερα να έχω ήδη αφήσει δαχτυλιές.

Τελικό συμπέρασμα: Δεν γίνεται να πας λάθος αν έχεις το συγκεκριμένο πληκτρολόγιο. Στα 130€('η στα 70 αν το βρείτε εκθεσιακό) κάνεις επένδυση χρήματων για τουλάχιστον 5-8 χρόνια. το 2016 που έλεγαν όλοι "δε θα έδινα ποτέ 180€ για πληκτρολόγιο". 8 χρόνια μετά θα σας πω μην τσιγγουνευτείτε ούτε ευρώ για ένα καλό πληκτρολόγιο που είναι εργαλείο δουλειάς και διασκέδασης ταυτόχρονα είτε είστε gamer είτε content creator είτε απλός χρήστης που του αρέσει να περνάει χρόνο στο pc του.

I have been searching for a good keyboard for a long time, I searched a lot and read many reviews, for every company and various models. I finally bought this one, in intense gaming the switches sound loud but when you simply type a text they are smooth. What can I say, it seems excellent with very good quality. The previous one I had was Motospeed ck 107, it's like day and night. The response from the switches, you touch them and they give a command. The colors and the rest are extremely beautiful and useful. I recommend it, there is no reason to spend more money, it is an awesome product.
UPDATE 28/3/2021. So, recently I had time to play for a few hours and this problem occurred, the keys fly off if you press them at the edge, especially keys that don't have others around them. Unacceptable for a 160 euro keyboard. I first noticed it with the arrow keys, then I tried it with other keys and with a few presses at the edge, it happens what I mentioned above. Also, I think the sound of the keys has changed compared to the first day of purchase (you can hear the spring but the sensation when pressing has also changed). Generally, most keys feel like you just put them on top of the switch, with almost no force they can come off, I should note that I haven't removed them to clean the keyboard...
If there is a replacement from the store, I will come back with a new evaluation.
UPDATE 22/4/21, I am still waiting for the replacement or refund, in other words, never get involved with RMA.
*Finally, there will be no replacement, since it cannot be repaired. The same keyboard in the same store now costs 40 more. In the end, I will get my money back after a month of waiting.

Bought about 1 year ago, for approximately €129 (Black Friday) from a large store.

As soon as you take it out of the box, it gives you the feeling of a premium keyboard due to its sturdy aluminum construction with very nice finishes, which makes it stable on any surface. The packaging includes spare key sets for FPS & MOBA, as well as a keycap puller. The braided cable splits in two, with the second connection being for the USB port at the back (so we don't lose ports from our PC).

In terms of functionality, the feel of the switches is incredible, with the keys requiring minimal pressure to press and without the excessive noise usually found in mechanical keyboards (loud click). Any other keyboard now seems... wrong. In fact, if you get used to it, you can type almost silently. It has buttons on the left side for adjusting the lighting intensity and selecting different profiles from the iCUE software (in case you don't configure it and it is selected automatically). On the right side, it has discreet media keys as well as a fantastic scroll wheel for adjusting the volume.

Visually, the aluminum surface creates an exceptional canvas on which the RGB LEDs paint. Each key can be programmed separately through iCUE, creating separate lighting profiles and macros for different functions. The profiles can also be activated automatically when starting a program (for example, you can only light up the keys you use in an FPS game as soon as it starts, and even with different colors). Additionally, iCUE can synchronize the profiles of all your Corsair peripherals, creating a complete ecosystem. I should also mention that the keyboard stores 3 profiles in its internal memory, so it keeps them in case you connect it to another PC.

PROS:
- Excellent build quality, materials, and finishes
- Excellent RGB lighting
- Cherry MX mechanical switches
- Very good iCUE control software
- Multimedia keys

CONS:
- If you don't catch it on sale, the price is steep
- iCUE, although very easy, may be challenging for a beginner
- The USB port is 2.0, not 3.0

Owner of the keyboard for about 4 months and I have to say the following: The K70 mk2 belongs to the premium category of gaming keyboards and you really won't find anything that doesn't declare it. It is sturdy as it is made of high-quality materials (hard plastic, brushed steel, etc.) and its cable is reinforced and long enough for any situation. In terms of usage, it is extremely responsive as it has anti-ghosting function on all keys so you don't miss any input (this can be very useful in gaming, of course) and the switches it has in my case are cherry red switches designed for gaming and offer very comfortable sessions with minimal noise as one would expect from red switches (in other countries, this particular model comes with other switch options). In terms of cosmetics, we are dealing with an impressive keyboard with excellent lighting (per key RGB) and unlimited functions that you can "play" with through Corsair's iCUE software. The wrist rest could be leather in this category, but perhaps for its own reasons, Corsair insists on it being made of soft plastic (personally, it does its job well and doesn't bother me). Finally, in terms of media, it has a programmable scroll wheel (you can assign hotkeys to it like all other keys) that adjusts the volume and also has all the other basic media keys (play/pause/prev/next) as well as a USB port on the back. In conclusion, we are dealing with a fantastic keyboard that is considered one of the best available for gaming, and at the €130 price I got it for, I have no complaints and you won't find anything better at this price at the moment. I highly recommend it!
