    Apart from recording activities with relatively good accuracy in my opinion, continuously recording heart rate, the built-in oximeter, the body battery function, and stress measurement, there are other capabilities that are an advantage for this specific device. You can choose from different watch faces created by independent developers with many options and data on the screen. There are widgets and apps (activities). In the widgets, there are various compasses, altimeters, GPS applications, body temperature meters (relative accuracy), weekly graphs of your data, etc. In the apps, there are various activities beyond the default ones, applications with extra parameters for common activities, GPS applications, yoga-meditation apps, and more. There are also apps for measuring HRV. I should note that all extras are usually free in the store but may have a small cost.

    Now, for the disadvantages, it is somewhat complicated to use and program all of these, and it takes some time to learn and get used to them. For some reason, in my case, synchronization works fine for everything except the daily fluid intake meter, which usually does not synchronize and needs to be manually entered. When you have to do it every day, it becomes a bit annoying. I spoke with support, but there is no solution, maybe it has to do with the mobile phone.

    The main disadvantage is the battery. 2-4 days with simple usage and not many extra features. If you compare it to other fitness trackers like the Mi Band 4, which lasts half a month, it is a bit tragic, but what can we do, all these measurements consume battery. So you can't take the watch for a week-long trip, for example, it needs charging. Just for this reason, I would have thought twice about getting it if I knew it beforehand, but as we said, it has all the other elements, some of which are groundbreaking...

    Additionally, sleep tracking is not 100% accurate. It doesn't capture naps during the day. It only focuses on the night and sometimes it is slightly off. Basically, it asks you to note the hours you sleep and wake up usually and focuses on that period.

    Αγόρασα την έκδοση 40mm για την κόρη μου και έχω μία σχετική εμπειρία από smartwatches/sportswatches, αυτή τη στιγμή είμαι κάτοχος του Forerunner 645.
    H αγορά έγινε αποκλειστικά σχεδόν λόγω του μεγέθους, καθώς ψάχναμε κάτι στα 40mm. Το πολύ καλό Samsung active 2 είχε αποκλειστεί λόγω του όχι και τόσο sportswatch χαρακτήρα του, η μικρή είναι αθλήτρια και ήθελε κάτι αντίστοιχο.
    Οι πρώτες εντυπώσεις πολύ θετικές, το λουράκι και η κάσα αποτελούνται από πολύ καλής ποιότητας υλικά. Στην αρχή ξένισα με το καλώδιο σύνδεσης, για άλλη μια φορά η Garmin αλλάζει το interface σύνδεσης του ρολογιού με τον φορτιστή ή το PC. Είχα διαβάσει αρκετά reviews πριν την αγορά, αλλά δεν είχα δώσει σημασία στον χειρισμό. Οι λειτουργίες εκτελούνται από δύο πλήκτρα συν gestures στην οθόνη, κάτι το οποίο ποτέ δεν μου άρεσε και σε παλιότερα smartwatches που είχα. Εκτός του ότι κατά την διάρκεια της άθλησης ο χειρισμός είναι δύσκολος, σε μία τόσο μικρή οθόνη όπως του 4S η δυσκολία γίνεται ακόμη μεγαλύτερη. Γενικά, και μιλώντας αποκλειστικά στην άθληση, τίποτα δεν υποκαθιστά τα παλιά, καλά κουμπιά. Πάντως, για να είμαι αντικειμενικός, ο χειρισμός του 4S με χειρονομίες είναι ικανοποιητικός και σίγουρα πολύ καλύτερος από το Amazfit pace πχ που είχα παλιότερα.
    Η επόμενη, πολύ πιο αρνητική, εικόνα έρχεται από την οθόνη. Η φωτεινότητά της είναι ικανοποιητική και η ευκρίνειά της κάτω από τον ήλιο εξαιρετική, αλλά η ανάλυσή της πάρα πολύ μικρή, τόσο που δημιουργεί πρακτικά προβλήματα. Για όποιον η ποιότητα της οθόνης είναι πολύ σημαντική υπάρχει και το Garmin Venu με πολύ καλή, always on, AMOLED οθόνη, αλλά είναι λίγο μεγαλύτερο και με χειρότερη αυτονομία. Το GPS κλειδώνει σχεδόν αμέσως και όλες οι μετρήσεις φαίνεται να είναι πολύ ακριβείς.
    Οι λειτουργίες smartwatch του 4S, όπως και των υπολοίπων Garmin, εμένα προσωπικά με καλύπτουν. Υποστηρίζει notifications από όλες τις εφαρμογές, ενώ πολύ βολικές είναι και οι έτοιμες απαντήσεις που μπορείς να φτιάξεις και να στείλεις μέσα από το ρολόι. Άλλο βασικό μειονέκτημα για εμένα είναι η έλλειψη ηχείου, άρα και ηχητικών ειδοποιήσεων στην προπόνηση και ήχου στο ξυπνητήρι. Η αυτονομία του είναι πραγματικά πολύ καλή, παρά το μικρό του μέγεθος και της αντίστοιχα μικρής μπαταρίας. Δυστυχώς δεν μπορώ να δώσω νούμερα, γιατί συνηθίζω να φορτίζω τις συσκευές μου όταν πέσουν στο 20% περίπου και να τις βγάζω όταν φτάνουν στο 80, αλλά ακόμη και έτσι το ρολόι πάει εύκολα στις 4-5 ημέρες, με 2-3 ωριαίες προπονήσεις (άρα και χρήση του GPS) να συμπεριλαμβάνονται.
    Δυστυχώς η Garmin είναι αυτή που είναι. Βρίσκει ένα κενό στην αγορά (αυτό των μικρών σε μέγεθος sportswatches), βάζει τους αποδεδειγμένα άριστους αισθητήρες της, μία κακή οθόνη, το κοστολογεί στα ύψη και όποιος θέλει αγοράζει. Δεν υπάρχει αντίστοιχο προϊόν στην αγορά, το Active 2 που προανέφερα υποστηρίζει μόνο το Strava και αυτό όχι σωστά, αλλά έχει μία πολύ καλύτερη οθόνη και πιο πολλά φαντεζί κόλπα, όντας πραγματικό smartwatch.

    Owner of the Huawei honor watch magic 2. Comparing these two, I have to say that the honor watch has a longer battery life, it lasts at least one week more. Secondly, with the Garmin, I experienced many disconnections even though I had given it permissions, etc., everything it needed, while with the honor watch, I haven't had a single disconnection for 4 months. Additionally, the honor watch has a better display, but it is not continuously active like the Garmin for battery life reasons (you can have it continuously active, but it significantly reduces battery duration). As for the measurements, I didn't notice any differences. In terms of appearance, the honor watch is more presentable for me. If I had to choose one of the two, I would go for the honor watch with my eyes closed because it costs about €110 less.

Το GPS κλειδώνει σχεδόν αμέσως και όλες οι μετρήσεις φαίνεται να είναι πολύ ακριβείς.
    Οι λειτουργίες smartwatch του 4S, όπως και των υπολοίπων Garmin, εμένα προσωπικά με καλύπτουν. Υποστηρίζει notifications από όλες τις εφαρμογές, ενώ πολύ βολικές είναι και οι έτοιμες απαντήσεις που μπορείς να φτιάξεις και να στείλεις μέσα από το ρολόι. Άλλο βασικό μειονέκτημα για εμένα είναι η έλλειψη ηχείου, άρα και ηχητικών ειδοποιήσεων στην προπόνηση και ήχου στο ξυπνητήρι. Η αυτονομία του είναι πραγματικά πολύ καλή, παρά το μικρό του μέγεθος και της αντίστοιχα μικρής μπαταρίας. Δυστυχώς δεν μπορώ να δώσω νούμερα, γιατί συνηθίζω να φορτίζω τις συσκευές μου όταν πέσουν στο 20% περίπου και να τις βγάζω όταν φτάνουν στο 80, αλλά ακόμη και έτσι το ρολόι πάει εύκολα στις 4-5 ημέρες, με 2-3 ωριαίες προπονήσεις (άρα και χρήση του GPS) να συμπεριλαμβάνονται.
    Δυστυχώς η Garmin είναι αυτή που είναι. Βρίσκει ένα κενό στην αγορά (αυτό των μικρών σε μέγεθος sportswatches), βάζει τους αποδεδειγμένα άριστους αισθητήρες της, μία κακή οθόνη, το κοστολογεί στα ύψη και όποιος θέλει αγοράζει. Δεν υπάρχει αντίστοιχο προϊόν στην αγορά, το Active 2 που προανέφερα υποστηρίζει μόνο το Strava και αυτό όχι σωστά, αλλά έχει μία πολύ καλύτερη οθόνη και πιο πολλά φαντεζί κόλπα, όντας πραγματικό smartwatch.
    Κανονικά πρέπει να του κόψω δύο αστέρια για την ανάλυση της οθόνης και μόνο, αλλά κατά τα άλλα το ρολόι είναι τόσο καλό στα υπόλοιπα, που θα φανώ επιεικής. You can choose from different watch faces created by independent developers with many options and data on the screen. There are widgets and apps (activities). In the widgets, there are various compasses, altimeters, GPS applications, body temperature meters (relative accuracy), weekly graphs of your data, etc. In the apps, there are various activities beyond the default ones, applications with extra parameters for common activities, GPS applications, yoga-meditation apps, and more. There are also apps for measuring HRV. I should note that all extras are usually free in the store but may have a small cost.

    Now, for the disadvantages, it is somewhat complicated to use and program all of these, and it takes some time to learn and get used to them. For some reason, in my case, synchronization works fine for everything except the daily fluid intake meter, which usually does not synchronize and needs to be manually entered. When you have to do it every day, it becomes a bit annoying. I spoke with support, but there is no solution, maybe it has to do with the mobile phone.

    The main disadvantage is the battery. 2-4 days with simple usage and not many extra features. If you compare it to other fitness trackers like the Mi Band 4, which lasts half a month, it is a bit tragic, but what can we do, all these measurements consume battery. So you can't take the watch for a week-long trip, for example, it needs charging. Just for this reason, I would have thought twice about getting it if I knew it beforehand, but as we said, it has all the other elements, some of which are groundbreaking...

    Additionally, sleep tracking is not 100% accurate. It doesn't capture naps during the day. It only focuses on the night and sometimes it is slightly off. Basically, it asks you to note the hours you sleep and wake up usually and focuses on that period.

    Αγόρασα την έκδοση 40mm για την κόρη μου και έχω μία σχετική εμπειρία από smartwatches/sportswatches, αυτή τη στιγμή είμαι κάτοχος του Forerunner 645.
    H αγορά έγινε αποκλειστικά σχεδόν λόγω του μεγέθους, καθώς ψάχναμε κάτι στα 40mm. Το πολύ καλό Samsung active 2 είχε αποκλειστεί λόγω του όχι και τόσο sportswatch χαρακτήρα του, η μικρή είναι αθλήτρια και ήθελε κάτι αντίστοιχο.
    Οι πρώτες εντυπώσεις πολύ θετικές, το λουράκι και η κάσα αποτελούνται από πολύ καλής ποιότητας υλικά. Στην αρχή ξένισα με το καλώδιο σύνδεσης, για άλλη μια φορά η Garmin αλλάζει το interface σύνδεσης του ρολογιού με τον φορτιστή ή το PC. Εκτός του ότι κατά την διάρκεια της άθλησης ο χειρισμός είναι δύσκολος, σε μία τόσο μικρή οθόνη όπως του 4S η δυσκολία γίνεται ακόμη μεγαλύτερη. For some reason, in my case, synchronization works fine for everything except the daily fluid intake meter, which usually does not synchronize and needs to be manually entered. When you have to do it every day, it becomes a bit annoying. I spoke with support, but there is no solution, maybe it has to do with the mobile phone.

    The main disadvantage is the battery. 2-4 days with simple usage and not many extra features. If you compare it to other fitness trackers like the Mi Band 4, which lasts half a month, it is a bit tragic, but what can we do, all these measurements consume battery. So you can't take the watch for a week-long trip, for example, it needs charging. Just for this reason, I would have thought twice about getting it if I knew it beforehand, but as we said, it has all the other elements, some of which are groundbreaking...

    Additionally, sleep tracking is not 100% accurate. It doesn't capture naps during the day. It only focuses on the night and sometimes it is slightly off. Basically, it asks you to note the hours you sleep and wake up usually and focuses on that period.

    Αγόρασα την έκδοση 40mm για την κόρη μου και έχω μία σχετική εμπειρία από smartwatches/sportswatches, αυτή τη στιγμή είμαι κάτοχος του Forerunner 645.
    H αγορά έγινε αποκλειστικά σχεδόν λόγω του μεγέθους, καθώς ψάχναμε κάτι στα 40mm. Το πολύ καλό Samsung active 2 είχε αποκλειστεί λόγω του όχι και τόσο sportswatch χαρακτήρα του, η μικρή είναι αθλήτρια και ήθελε κάτι αντίστοιχο.
    Οι πρώτες εντυπώσεις πολύ θετικές, το λουράκι και η κάσα αποτελούνται από πολύ καλής ποιότητας υλικά. Στην αρχή ξένισα με το καλώδιο σύνδεσης, για άλλη μια φορά η Garmin αλλάζει το interface σύνδεσης του ρολογιού με τον φορτιστή ή το PC. Είχα διαβάσει αρκετά reviews πριν την αγορά, αλλά δεν είχα δώσει σημασία στον χειρισμό. Οι λειτουργίες εκτελούνται από δύο πλήκτρα συν gestures στην οθόνη, κάτι το οποίο ποτέ δεν μου άρεσε και σε παλιότερα smartwatches που είχα. Εκτός του ότι κατά την διάρκεια της άθλησης ο χειρισμός είναι δύσκολος, σε μία τόσο μικρή οθόνη όπως του 4S η δυσκολία γίνεται ακόμη μεγαλύτερη. Γενικά, και μιλώντας αποκλειστικά στην άθληση, τίποτα δεν υποκαθιστά τα παλιά, καλά κουμπιά. Πάντως, για να είμαι αντικειμενικός, ο χειρισμός του 4S με χειρονομίες είναι ικανοποιητικός και σίγουρα πολύ καλύτερος από το Amazfit pace πχ που είχα παλιότερα.
    Η επόμενη, πολύ πιο αρνητική, εικόνα έρχεται από την οθόνη. Η φωτεινότητά της είναι ικανοποιητική και η ευκρίνειά της κάτω από τον ήλιο εξαιρετική, αλλά η ανάλυσή της πάρα πολύ μικρή, τόσο που δημιουργεί πρακτικά προβλήματα. Το interface είναι αρκετά "πιξελωτό" σε πολλά σημεία, οι γραμματοσειρές και τα σχήματα παρουσιάζουν "σκαλοπατάκια" και γενικά η εικόνα επ'ουδενί ταιριάζει σε ένα ρολόι των €300. H κόρη μου δεν ενοχλείται, παρόλα αυτά εγώ το βρίσκω εξαιρετικά ενοχλητικό. Για όποιον η ποιότητα της οθόνης είναι πολύ σημαντική υπάρχει και το Garmin Venu με πολύ καλή, always on, AMOLED οθόνη, αλλά είναι λίγο μεγαλύτερο και με χειρότερη αυτονομία. Το GPS κλειδώνει σχεδόν αμέσως και όλες οι μετρήσεις φαίνεται να είναι πολύ ακριβείς.
    Οι λειτουργίες smartwatch του 4S, όπως και των υπολοίπων Garmin, εμένα προσωπικά με καλύπτουν. Υποστηρίζει notifications από όλες τις εφαρμογές, ενώ πολύ βολικές είναι και οι έτοιμες απαντήσεις που μπορείς να φτιάξεις και να στείλεις μέσα από το ρολόι. Άλλο βασικό μειονέκτημα για εμένα είναι η έλλειψη ηχείου, άρα και ηχητικών ειδοποιήσεων στην προπόνηση και ήχου στο ξυπνητήρι. Η αυτονομία του είναι πραγματικά πολύ καλή, παρά το μικρό του μέγεθος και της αντίστοιχα μικρής μπαταρίας. Δυστυχώς δεν μπορώ να δώσω νούμερα, γιατί συνηθίζω να φορτίζω τις συσκευές μου όταν πέσουν στο 20% περίπου και να τις βγάζω όταν φτάνουν στο 80, αλλά ακόμη και έτσι το ρολόι πάει εύκολα στις 4-5 ημέρες, με 2-3 ωριαίες προπονήσεις (άρα και χρήση του GPS) να συμπεριλαμβάνονται.
    Δυστυχώς η Garmin είναι αυτή που είναι. Βρίσκει ένα κενό στην αγορά (αυτό των μικρών σε μέγεθος sportswatches), βάζει τους αποδεδειγμένα άριστους αισθητήρες της, μία κακή οθόνη, το κοστολογεί στα ύψη και όποιος θέλει αγοράζει. Δεν υπάρχει αντίστοιχο προϊόν στην αγορά, το Active 2 που προανέφερα υποστηρίζει μόνο το Strava και αυτό όχι σωστά, αλλά έχει μία πολύ καλύτερη οθόνη και πιο πολλά φαντεζί κόλπα, όντας πραγματικό smartwatch.
    Κανονικά πρέπει να του κόψω δύο αστέρια για την ανάλυση της οθόνης και μόνο, αλλά κατά τα άλλα το ρολόι είναι τόσο καλό στα υπόλοιπα, που θα φανώ επιεικής. Αν κάποιος θέλει ένα εξαιρετικό sportswatch μικρών διαστάσεων, ως μόνη επιλογή έχει το Vivoactive 4S, αλλά θα πρέπει να ζήσει με μία απαράδεκτη για την εποχή και την τιμή του ρολογιού οθόνη.

    Owner of the Huawei honor watch magic 2. Comparing these two, I have to say that the honor watch has a longer battery life, it lasts at least one week more. Secondly, with the Garmin, I experienced many disconnections even though I had given it permissions, etc., everything it needed, while with the honor watch, I haven't had a single disconnection for 4 months. Additionally, the honor watch has a better display, but it is not continuously active like the Garmin for battery life reasons (you can have it continuously active, but it significantly reduces battery duration). As for the measurements, I didn't notice any differences. In terms of appearance, the honor watch is more presentable for me. If I had to choose one of the two, I would go for the honor watch with my eyes closed because it costs about €110 less.
